House rules
To protect the artworks, and to make sure everyone can enjoy a safe and pleasant museum visit, house rules apply at Museum de Fundatie Zwolle and Kasteel het Nijenhuis.
The house rules
General rules
- To help protect the art, we ask you not to touch the artworks. Touching the artworks is not allowed, unless it is clearly stated that touching is permitted.
- Always follow the instructions of our staff. Sometimes the house rules may be temporarily adjusted. In that case, we also ask you to follow the instructions given by our staff.
- Would you like to write or draw in the exhibition rooms? You are welcome to do so, but only with a coloured pencil, pencil or ballpoint pen. Please do not write or draw against the walls. Sitting on the floor is only allowed when the museum is not too busy.
- Food and drinks are only allowed in the museum café and museum bar. Food and drinks can be purchased there. You may not eat food you have brought with you in or near the museum café or museum bar.
- Smoking is not allowed inside our buildings or on the terrace.
- The museum is not liable for theft. This means that the museum is not responsible if your belongings are lost or stolen. Please keep a close eye on your personal belongings.
Bags, pets and mobility aids
