Museum Murals

Street art by Kenneth Letsoin & ONUR

A painting of 650 square metres and one of 475 square metres. Just try getting that into a museum... For Museum de Fundatie, Kenneth Letsoin, a.k.a. Naamlooozz, and ONUR have created gigantic murals on the Hessenweg. Art flows out of the museum and into the streets.

Art outside the museum

Museum Murals is an initiative of the Mauritshuis in The Hague and is made possible by the participants of the VriendenLoterij. This year, the Netherlands will be enriched with 20 immense murals, based on museum collections from various museums. For the murals in Zwolle, two tunnels have been selected to be painted: the railway tunnel and the bicycle tunnel on and near the Hessenweg, between Zwolle and Dalfsen. Kenneth and ONUR took inspiration from the Fundatie Collection and, after three weeks of hard work, the murals can now be seen by everyone.
